The first pro is eliminating the foods ability to cause an allergic reaction. Which allows people who would have an allergic reaction by eating these certain foods to not have one. Another pro in creating bioengineered foods is that the plants grow faster than growing them in a traditional way. Also bioengineered foods cost less to produce than non bioengineered foods, this is because people do not have to spray the plant with chemicals to protect it. The cons of bioengineered foods should make people think about ingesting them. The most dangerous issue of ingesting bioengineered foods is that the food can have a harmful effect on the human body. According to some experts people ingesting bioengineered foods have a high risk of developing cancer. There is not much known about the long term effects on people and health risks are unknown. Also pollen from the fields of bioengineered food can spread to fields that do not contain bioengineered foods and contaminate the non bioengineered foods. In conclusion bioengineered foods are beneficial in most ways for human consumption. Bioengineered foods are beneficial in ways like more nutrients, food grows faster and food taste better. Also you do not have to spray these crops with pesticides because they are pest resistance. bioengineered foods are bad for human consumption in ways like causing cancer, and not knowing the long term effects on the human body. All and all its is up to the consumer, whether or not to purchase and consume bioengineered foods.

Crime Rates and The Criminal Justice System essays

Crime Rates and The Criminal Justice System essays It seems as though the issue of race is unavoidable, regardless of the context in which we are speaking. It is a shame that the idea of race play a role in any aspect of life. For someone of color to be disregarded, or overlooked, when being considered for an education or employment is unacceptable, but seems to be much more tragic when the issue of race spills over into our criminal justice system. It is imperative that the very nature of any justice system must be founded on the idea the application of the law be fair, no matter what your race. It has become quite apparent that race influence our criminal justice system based on the simple fact that blacks comprise nearly half our prison population while they make up only 13 to 14 percent of the general population. Race plays a major role, not only in rates of crime, but also in the decision-making process of our criminal justice system. Race plays a role in criminal activity, not only here in America, but in other countries as well. As I mentioned before, blacks (being a minority in the country) are over-represented in our prisons. This lends testimony to the fact that race, does in fact, play a role in rates of crime and our criminal justice system. There are many theories that could possibly explain blacks and their involvement in criminal activity including constitutional factors, economic deprivation, the idea that black family life fails to install adequate regard for long term goals in order replace instant pleasures for delayed rewards and the idea that blacks have somehow developed a skewed view the larger society and its values. For example, for the most part, we are residentially segregated. This means, that for the most part, blacks live in black neighborhoods and whites live in white neighbor hoods. It is also fair to say that the white population is currently dominant in America. This is not to say whites are better in a...

The Millenials are team driven, confident and aspire to climb the corporate ladder. They have technology at their finger tips and have numerous platforms to communicate. All they need to do is approve or disapprove products by pressing ‘Likes’, ‘Stars’ or leaving comments on social media. For the Millenials, technology is much more than sharing information. It is a means to improve life and contribute meaningfully to the society. While the opportunity is lucrative, marketing to the Millenials is not as straightforward as it seems. Millenials think differently, act differently and aspire to buy products that complement their lifestyles. Since time immemorial, people have hankered after jewelry. So do the Millenials. The difference however is that the Millenials may pick up jewelry that goes with yoga pants or look nice with their tattoos. The older generations would not have fathomed about this and that is where difference lies. The aforesaid discussion makes a strong case for using different marketing techniques for the Millennials. The age-old formulas and well- established value proposition strategies may prove ineffective while marketing products and services to this generation. The Milenials have grown up in the 1980s and 1990s and have therefore had exposure of a globalized world. They are aware of what social responsibilities mean and they understand that individuals can make a difference. Designing, manufacturing and marketing new and innovative products is the key to success when it comes to marketing to the Millenials.
